In conjunction with the overarching mission of Dementia Friendly Pennsylvania, Dementia Friendly Lancaster County, envisions a future where every corner of our community is an inclusive, supportive and understanding haven for individuals with dementia and their families.
Through initiatives including: memory cafes, musical memories, community meals as well as trainings for businesses, organizations, religious institutions and individual community members, Dementia Friendly Lancaster County is dedicated to changing perceptions and experiences around dementia. In addition we’re dedicated to fostering a community where every individual, regardless of their cognitive condition, feels valued, understood and integrated. Our vision is a testament to the belief that together, we can transform Lancaster County into a model of dementia-friendly living where compassion, support and inclusivity illuminate every path.
